Experience life on the croft in an idyllic location just north of Ullapool on the West Coast of Scotland, making us a great stop on your North Coast 500 trip!

Come and meet the locals...
Meet our six Clydesdales giants:
Donald, Angus, Finlay, Hamish, Bruce and Archie!
Groom and get to know the horses while enjoying the outstanding views.There will be lots of photo opportunities for you with the Clydesdales.
Peggy and Dougal can also come along for the craic!

While enjoying the scenery and the company of the Clydesdales - enjoy a Scottish Cream Tea - in the sunshine, or served in The Horsebox if the weather's dreich!

In the Kids Corner -
Peggy the Fallow fawn is ready for cuddles and being hand fed! Dougal the Donkey for feeding and grooming. Children can also take Dougal for a walk!
Children are also welcome to feed the chickens and collect and keep any eggs that are discovered!

Your visit...

  • It's the day of your visit...
    Please be prepared for all types of weather, as this is an outdoor activity.
    Each visit usually lasts around an hour and is a very hands-on experience for those wishing to get up close to the gentle giants.
  • Highland hospitality...
    A Scottish Cream Tea is provided: please email with any dietary requirements 48 hours before your visit and we will be delighted to assist. 
  • Take in the fresh Highland air...
    Situated in a picturesque crofting township based just north of Ullapool and is right on the world famous North Coast 500!
    Nearby is the stunning coastal village of Ardmair - with camping grounds and a beautiful pebble beach.
    Just a few miles north is the notorious Stac Pollaidh, a highlight for hillwalkers and photographers alike.

    Visits are on a pre-booked basis, so booking is essential.

  • Pricing:
    Pricing is based per person, with a minimum of 2 adults, per visit. Under 15s are free when accompanied by 2 adults.

Clydesdales are well known for their gentle nature and calm temperament, and I am passionate about showcasing their qualities and enabling people to experience them hands-on and up-close in person.
